Minimum eligibility for admission to SPJIMR: The candidate needs to have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks while undertaking valid scores in the Common Admission Test/XAT/ Graduate Management Admission Test. Candidates will have to apply online to the course, and the shortlisting is based on the performance of the candidate in entrance tests, academic background, and achievements; subsequently, the candidates will undergo group interviews and discussions where their communication and leadership skills will be assessed. Considering the overall performance, the final selection is made, and a candidate is offered admission. Merit-cum-need-based scholarships are also offered.
SPJIMR shortlists the candidates for its flagship program, PGDM, based on the candidate's profile. The profiles are screen-sorted into two groups of candidates: profile-based and Profile-cum-Score-based.
Admission to SPJIMR courses is merit-based. For admission in PGDM/ PGPM, candidates have to qualify for the CAT/ GMAT followed by the personal interview round. For selection in Online PGDM, a personal interview round will be considered. Candidates need to fulfill the selection eligibility criteria in order to get admission into any of the undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Yes, the applicant must have at least two years of work experience with the social sector in order to be eligible for the PGPDM course at SPJIMR. People who are not employed in the social sector when applying but plan to move into the social sector must have at least two years of work experience in any industry and, more importantly, a passion for working in the sector of social services as well as abilities which can transfer to the social sector.
